McKinney Family Healthcare is an official Medifast provider / health coach advisor.

We offer one on one counseling, lifestyle education, food and activity tracking and personal support for our patients on the Medifast diet program.

The Medifast low-calorie weight loss program consists of clinically proven meal replacements designed to help you lose 2-5 pounds per week safely and quickly. Additionally, the program is medically supervised to monitor every client’s health improvements.

We recommend that you make an initial appointment to perform an initial medical evaluation with body measurements.  We will then assist you with your first food order.  This is followed by recommended weekly visits with our nurse advisor who will help you with maintenance on the program.

Cost:  The cost of the program is the cost of the food (on average $275 - $315 per month) plus a maintenance charge per visit.  For established patients the maintenance charge is set at $10 per visit with the nurse advisor.  Patients with more complicated medical issues (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, etc.) needing to see the physician will be billed through their private insurance and all appropriate co-payments will apply.  For non established patients wishing to enroll only in the Medifast program, the cost will be a program fee based on goal weight loss.
