Dr. Lawrence has partnered with many local doctors in a venture to build a physician owned hospital.  This hospital is currently under construction.  It will be located next too (north of) the Michael Johnson Olympic Athlete Training Facility located on Alma Drive in Craig Ranch in Southwest McKinney.  This will be a state of the art hospital with a fully staffed ER, multifunctional operating suites, and an ICU.  Our office will be located on the second floor of the medical office building component.  There will be a parking garage attached for patient parking and convenience. 

With this move will come many changes as Dr Lawrence says goodbye to his direct association with Drs Brinkman and George.  McKinney Family Healthcare will then take up the challenge of growth and developing a premier site for the medical needs of the community.  We will be converting to an electronic medical record and continue with e-prescribing.  This move will give us the opportunity to develop patient centered care programs to focus on the needs of our patients.  This will include a dedicated weight loss program, further development of a structured hormone replacement and wellness clinic, and a advanced care diabetes care program.

This is all great news and we look forward to sharing more news as it develops in the future.
